Grab your tissues, this post promises to be a tear jerker.

There seems to be a string of deaths in my family the last few years. It seems one family after another are dying. Why are so many people dying? With the way the world is going, there seems to be a warning from God telling people to get right. And doggone, I'm gonna do it. It is time to start living the good life as Kanye says. But not the way he says. Living a good life is ensuring that you are loving God and loving others. This is truly how to live the good life. I ask today, "Will you live the good life?" Live it now, so that you'll have a awesome life later.

Keep yourself and others in prayer.

Second Edition of Mama Peavy Book

I am so excited to announce that I will be releasing a second edition of my highly acclaimed book Mama Peavy says, "Women, It's OK to Marry an Ugly Man." The new book will feature three more reasons why it's OK plus more chapters on finding and keeping a man. And it still has all the ha-ha that you know I bring. The publishers plan to release this new book in the summer of 2008. No worries, if you have a first edition, you're lucky since you'll receive great benefits for being a first edition holder.

Also, my show Mama Peavy and the Tabernacle of Sorrow is currently in production. The first episode will air October 28, 2007. We pushed the date from October 7 to the 28 due to scheduling conflicts and changes. It still will be juicy and will bring the house down. Sugars, I tell you the truth, I don't cut no corners. November 13th is the big day for my CD release. Yep, I have finally gone digital. My new CD is titled "nothing as of yet". The cover and title will be released October 28, 2007 on the new website. You can pre-order them on my website beginning October 28, 2007.

Been a Minute

Wow! It's been a minute. Sugars, I tell yall the truth, the devil tried to deter me. He pulled out all the stops but I'm back and God is my witness, I am better than ever. Yep, the devil ain't got no room in my life.

Anyhow, I just wanted to update you all on what is happening. Internet show, Mama Peavy and The Tabernacle of Sorrow Show, has been pushed back until November. I am also planning to tour Mama Peavy and Friends starting in Spring 2008 so look out for it. I have several upcoming performances this month. One is at World Changers Church International, you know, the one with Minister/Pastor Creflo Dollar. It's a single's ministry event at the church and I am taking them a mighty word.

I have pushed several book signings back until later this year. And I will have another tour beginning summer of next year. So, I hope to meet some of you then if not earlier.
