We have all heard of having 15-minutes fo fame. And honestly, who doesn't want to be famous is only for 15-minutes. Well, sugars, I tell yall the truth, I am about to get mine. To promote my new book, "Mama Peavy says..." I am doing a 12-weekend tour along the east coast/gulf coast. I have lined up over 18 book signings. I plan to promote the book signings by doing radio interviews, newspaper interviews, TV interview on news stations, and short performances at private venues. This is an exciting time for me. Finally, the world can hear my message and just maybe, I can find a husband.
Anyhow, I'll be traveling to Columbia, SC and Baltimore, MD next weekend. I have a guest spot on one of the local news channels and I have several radio interviews setup throughout the week.
15-minutes...shoot...I'm gonna milk it for all it's worth and try to get 45-minutes of fame. I want to pose a question. If you could become famous, what would it be for?
